Redline Tire Options...

I have wanted redlines on my car for years.

As the price for four 235/60/15-ish tires went from $700 to near $1,000, my wish is even less likely to be filled. I cannot personally justify spending that much money on tires for a weekend driver.

That said, I have been looking at alternatives and wonder what experience you all might have on options for redlines other than Coker, etc.

Here are two I have found so far:

The MOPAR article at this link details how these folks scuff the tire and apply red rubber to make what appears to be very nice redlines to each tire--they come to you: http://www.moparmusclemagazine.com/t...s/viewall.html

The other options is connected to the following pic--they cost about $50 for a set of 4: what do you all think of this one? Any experience using these?:

You can try Diamond Back Clasic (dbclassic.com). They have a good selection, however the price is about the same. Good luck with your project
