Will this size fit the front

Can you run 205 70 R 15 with 4.5 back spacing on the front of a 68 Camaro, stock suspension, with out rubbing ?

For future reference 4.5 backspace wheels will not fit a 68 Camaro, the rim will rub on the tie rod knuckle.

No problem if it helps someone in the future it will be great. I did put spacer in and it works fine, although I don.t like spacers. I have heard but will need to confirm if I go to disc brakes they will sit out a little further and maybe I can eliminate the spacers.

Yes, FDB will move the wheel out 1/4-3/8 ", depending on the manufacturer. I have 4.25 BS, 215/65 15 with stock suspension and DB, with no issues.

  • '68 RS, AA, 749, L30, M(uncie)20 (originally a 3spd), 15yr backburner resto........
