TA P215/65R15, alternatives?

RANT

What the heck, outa stock at Summit, Walmart, etc...

Know the Cooper Cobra is out there, never had any. Any other RWL tires out there? Other 60s-looking tires? Need added visual, Blackwalls are out!

Re: TA P215/65R15, alternatives?

How 'bout 225/60 T/A's ? Very little difference size wise. Don't have the specs off hand, but as I recall, less than 1/2" wider and shorter....probably closer to 1/4". They'll work up front fine, but ya gotta have some meats on the back to fill out those 67/8 wheel wells. Think GM designed them that way for a reason.

Tried the sponsor yet? Discount Tire? I had tried to find 225 70s and was looking at the same issue. Nothing nationwide. Try this site for other sizes that may work for you: http://www.rimsntires.com/specs.jsp

I think Coker Tire has the size you want. Seems I read they own the molds now, no longer really made by BFG.
