1969 camaro 15 backspacing

I am going to run 15x7 and 15x8 rallys on my 69 camaro but have no idea what the backspacing i should use for these wheels. I am going to put 255-60-15 and 225-60-15 It is lowered 2 inch in front and 1.5 in the back might put a block to lower more. Any info helps

Re: 1969 camaro 15 backspacing

if its stock configuration , the norm is 4 1/2 to 4 3/4 on standard wheels . i think most are 4 3/4s. backspace on the 15 x 7s and 8s

15x7 wheels should have a 4.25" bs. That equates to a 6 offset which centers the wheel in the fender well. 15x8 you'll want a 4.75" bs to stay centered...
