2010 ZR1 wheels on 69?

Just wondering what is needed to get these to fit a 69 Camaro. The tire size would be a 245/40/18.

Ya its sick. I know they're replicas but it looks just real ZR1 rims. But, i'm just worried about the offset. If anyone thinks i will have problem with fitment let me know it would be great. These are the other wheels that i found that had a little less offset...http://www.ebay.com/itm/18X8-ADVANTI...d463e9&vxp=mtr

Should work with properly sized wheel adapters (not spacers) Wheel adapters aren't exactly cheap so do your homework. These guys should be able to help http://www.motorsport-tech.com/

Will these adaptors work for the ZR1 wheels? http://www.ebay.com/itm/4-2-inch-Che...1eb925&vxp=mtr

Re: 2010 ZR1 wheels on 69?

You're going to have to do some research and some math for yourself.

A. Determine the width of the wheels you want to install

B. Determine the backspace of the wheels you want to install

C. Determine what backspace for that width wheel fits your car, front and rear

4. If B is greater than C, subtract. (B - C = width of adapter) If C is greater than B you're out of luck.

Re: 2010 ZR1 wheels on 69?

Just off the top of my head if you take the +56 offset wheel you need an adapter that will leave you with +6 offset. If you do the math 50 (excess offset) divide by 25.4 you need a 1.96" thick adapter. Since you are not looking to get the widest possible wheel you can on your car the 2" adapter will probably work on the rear.

The 8.5" wheel on the front is probably going to give you problems and you'll need to modify your inner fender wells or run without them. I don't think you will find anyone running an 8.5" wheel in all the posts in the sticky threads on what wheels and tires work, a lot of 8" though.
