67 coupe rims

I have been searching but can't seem to get answer to my question. I have a 67 with front disc brakes and drum on rear. Multi leaf on rear and new front small block springs on front. I want to order rims but am worried about rubbing on front. Should I order 15x7 or 15x8 rims and tire size will help also. I want to run same tire and rim all around, also need to know how much back spacing on rims.
Thanks for help and somehow I feel this is a loaded question, but help

Go with 15x7's all the way around if you want to run the same size rim. With respect to same tire sizes, either 235/60/15's or 225/60/15's. Only problem is that 235/60/15's could rub a bit on full lock in the front, and the 225's may not look beefy enough on the rear. So your call and preference. 4" BS in the front and 4.5" in the rear will keep either size tucked.

My 15x7 in the front is a 4.125 back space or 4 1/8. I run hotchkiss front springs and button head bolts to keep them from rubbing. I have no issues lock to lock or front rubbing issues and I run a 235-60-15 BFG on the front.

My rear is 255-60-15 BFG on 15x8 with 4.5 back space, hotchkiss multi leaf rear springs. No issues but I picked up a rub after leveling out the car on the left rear where I have patch panel installed. I need to trim the 1/4 in that area and it will be gone. Prior to getting the car level I never had a rub issue. I suspect aftermarket 1/4's could be an issue and might need a roll or trimming. I have 1/4 installed on the right side but it was trimmed back to match a factory lip prior to paint, I have absolutely no rub issue on the right side. I missed doing the darn patch panel on the drivers side.

Thanks this is last step before driving after a long restoration I think 15x7 is what I'll go with, do you think 4.5 bs will work on front also

I think a 15x7 & 4.5 BS on the front will give you problems at lock other rubbing depending on tire size choice.

Personally I would go with a wider tire on the back. Do you really need the same front and back. You should be able to just replace the rears more often than you do the fronts and you can spend you money 2 at a time over the years instead of 4. ;-)
