Back Space

I have a 68 RS Camaro that currently has torque thrust 2 rims with 275/60/15 bfg drag radials on the rear. Problem is they rub when there is any suspention motion. The back space is 3.75 I think if I go 4.75 back space it will work. Just wondering if any one knows for sure what back space works for sure with this rim and tire. Also my goal is not to roll the fenders because I would like to put the wheel trim back on I like the way it looks.

Re: Back Space

I have the same size drag radial on a 8 inch wide rim with 4.5 inch backspacing with no rubbing at all.
