Year One Cast Magnum wheels

Hey all,
I'm looking at purchasing a set of Year Ones Cast Magnum wheels for my 1969 Camaro. The wheels are as follows:
2 - 17x8" wheels with 4.5" backspacing.
2 - 17x9" wheels with 5.125" backspacing

I read a thread on lateral g about how someone ordered these wheels for their 1969 Camaro, but sent them back because the 17 x 9 wheels were to wide and stuck out the rear fender wells. I'm confused now if these wheels will fit my car.

My Camaro is lowered with hotchkis coils and leafs, but the rest of the suspension is stock. Also, what would be the widest tire I could run on the back, but also tuck inside the fender lip.

Thanks in advance,
John

I don't have those wheels but I do have the same springs and leafs. I am running 18" wheels 9.5 with 5.5" B/S. My wheels tuck under real nice. Although I had to roll one side.

Re: Year One Cast Magnum wheels

Thanks for the reply TY. I see a lot of people with 9.5 wide wheels. The wheels I'm looking at are only 9, so does the .5 make that much of a difference?
