I think those would fit just fine.

What was stock? I have the same question with my 14s.

1969 Camaro SS350, original motor/12 bolt/interior and build sheet in Fathom Green.

I put 225 x 70 x 14 on my 69 and they rub in the front and they look too big to me. 215 is closer to stock.

They may rub, they may not, it depends upon your backspacing. Turn the wheel to lock in the front and check to see how much clearance you have. Keep in mind that the 225 will be a larger diameter as well.

Thanks, 195/70/14 was stock. I better stay with the 215's instead of spending the money on tires that are going to rub

Re: will 225/70/14 fit?

Why not pick up a set of 15" wheels/tires? They can be had probably cheaper than the new tires will be with mounting/balancing.

I'd got a set of 15" rally's I'll be selling when my new wheels get here and will probably take 400 for them with tires, rings, etc.

I'm not willing to ship them and you're not anywhere near local, but there are deals out there.

Thanks Jason, almost went with 15's but decided to stay with the 14's, they arrive Fed Ex today.
