Lug nuts

I have a 69 Camaro with the cap on the lug nuts, their acorn style i guess they call them, 7/16 x20. I want to by solid chrome to replace, they are for SS Rally wheels, i want the right ones. Any suggestions?

Re: Lug nuts

The correct tall crown stainless capped lug nuts are not reproduced and are near impossible to find.
There is a shorter crown version which is a service replacement however it isn't correct.

As far as finding chrome plated, I can only suggest checking the parts stores. Have seen some pretty close that.

That's strange in the description on the Rick's site it says the nuts are 7/16-18 not 7/16-20. Must by typo.

Re: Lug nuts

On a show car, do they remove the derby cap and inspect the lug nuts ?

If not, why would they matter ?

Re: Lug nuts

Anne, I assume Randy has "SS" wheels or RPO N66. There's a pic in the following link....

No those at Ricks are the later style with the short crowns Part#414xxx

The way to tell is the crowns are as tall as the hex.
