Anyone run 265/50/15 tires

I did a search but I could not find any pictures. I see cooper and hankook still make this size,265/50/15. I just wanted to see what they would look like on a Camaro.

Here's another one. 265/50/15 in the rear, 225/60/15 in the front. The fronts are a little taller than the rears:

Re: Anyone run 265/50/15 tires

Brent, thanks for the pictures. I wonder what size tire would look right on the front if you used the 265/50/15 on the rear since it is not too tall.

Re: Anyone run 265/50/15 tires

Anything in a 50 series would go fine. Or a 225/55/15 or 235/55/15 if they even make one.

The 225/60/16 is just a hair taller than the 265/50/15 in theory, but in the pic it looks noticeable to me. It could also just be mounted on a narrow wheel giving it a little extra sidewall budge.

Re: Anyone run 265/50/15 tires

Here are a couple photos of my 69 with Hankook P265/50 R15's on Weld Racing Draglite 15x9 on the rear and B.F. Goodrich P205/65 R15's Weld Racing Draglite 15x7 on the front. The top of the rear wheel well lip has been machined a bit to prevent wheel rub though I don't know if it was necessary, it was this way when I purchased it.

On the back of my '72 Nova with 215/60/15's up front so you can compare sidewall height.

2nd gen trans-am guys like them on all 4 corners...
