225 70 R14 Replacement-some rubbing up front

I've got the 14" rallys and my tire is a gy eagle st 225 70 r14. I'd like to stay close to stock looking. My current tires will rub up front if I crank the wheel all the way. What size do you recommend replacing them with? I like the raised white look. My suspension appears to be stock. Thanks!

Re: 225 70 R14 Replacement-some rubbing up front

The 225/70-14 is 26.5" tall with a 9"section width, a 215/70-14 is 25.9" tall and has an 8.7" section width. Both have a 6.7" tread width.... If you are just looking for a slight size change the 215/70 might do the trick.

Re: 225 70 R14 Replacement-some rubbing up front

I had 225/70-14 on the 67 stock steel rims and had the same problem. I switched to 215/70-14 and the problem was solved.
