Has anybody ever put 28x10.50 ET Drag tires on a 2nd gen? Is there a clearance problem? Thanks.

Hhhe, can you beleive someone stole Chevyman!!??!! Anyway, what kind of rear shocks are you running? I asked because we used to get 26 inch BFGs to touch the inside of the fender. It would actually cut the sidewall of the tire. We had new leafs installed and put on air shocks. If we keep the shocks up, they won't rub. Just kind of scared of the 2 inch jump.

I'm gonna find out about this Chevyman imposter! He hasn't even posted yet!!

I run have run 29x10.5's in the past, but they were actually circle track tires. ( Got a dirt track near your house? I used to get all my tires from those guys for free, worked great. I am the chepest git you will ever meet.) Oh yeah, you don't really have STEEL pistons, do ya?

Yes, I do. The motor is set up for a blower. I am sure that they are not pure steel, just an alloy containing mainly steel.

Yes, I have a couple of dirt tracks around. I'll check into it. Thanks.
