I need some help with my 69 camaro. I just ordered a pair of 225/60/r15 BF Goodrich radial t/a's to put on 15 x 8 corvette rallies for the front of my car. I plan on getting 275/50/r15 for the rear. My questions are will these tires fit, i have researched the overall diameters to be aroud 25 inches and both pairs are in that range so no rubbing right!

my second question why dont people use the 76-82 corvette aluminum rallies on 1st gen. camaros? I bought a set for my vette and tried them on the camaro and think they look pretty good! although i do have a set of the steel 15 x 8's i am unsure of which to use for my camaro.

any help, or opinions would be appreciated

Thumbs up

The tire size you chose for the front should wook good with 15x8 wheels. The rear should be ok,it will be close with stock springs.
As far as wheels go I prefer the older style 15x8 rallies over the 15x8 alloys. They are more period correct for the car. I've always thought the alloys were alittle boring. The trim rings and centers on the older wheels are still super sharp 30 years later. Just my opinion. Good Luck.
