4 inch sidewall tire on a 16" rim? like a 255/50-16 and 225/55-16. These are the sizes I am thinking about getting but I want to know what they would basically look like first

There was an issue of Hot Rot, April 1995 I believe, where they did a wheel & tire tech on a Camaro. They showed pictures of 15", 16", and 17" tires on the same car. If you want to get back issues, go to http://www.hotrodarchives.com. It will give you a good comparison. Boy did those 15" wheels and tires look weird since having experienced the late 1990's low profile revolution.

Mine has a 3-1/2 inch side wall on some 17's. It will look similar, but more tire, and less rim. Check the sig.

This is about the size used on late third gen Camaros...1990ish. You could probably go out and see one of these in just a few minutes of looking. Good luck! ~ John
