What is the correct tire for a 1969 z/28?? I've read that E70x15 are the correct tire at 200 dollars a pop, however everytime I read a classified people state they have the "proper polyglass F70x15 tires". Whats the deal!!!

The correct size would be the E70x15. All 69 Z28's received either the Goodyear "Wide Tread GT" or the Firestone "Sports Car 200". Either one was E70x15.

Coker now has both of them available in reproduction, but they're bias-ply like the originals were (scary handling). I have BFG 235/60-15 TA radials (on original 15x7 Rallys) all the way around on my stock '69 Z28, and I'm quite pleased with them. Just depends on what you're after - appearance or handling.
