Question

Has anybody had any traction problems with the low profile tires associated with 17" wheels. Ive heard that they dont hook up off the line.

Nitto and BFG make drag radials for 17 inch rims, that would be your best be.

I'm running BFG Comp T/As - 255/45/17 on the rear. They hook great. Maybe the Vette Brakes fiberglass springs help as well. I have a fairly stout 400 SB and when I get on it hard the tires both spin, the car drifts to the side a bit and then the tires just start hooking up real nice.

Of course, I don't dump the clutch at 5000 rpm or take it to the drag strip.
