I have a 68 camaro. My tires I have on my car are now bald. I need to know what is the best tire for traction, handling, reliability. Right now im thinking about bfgoodrich or cooper tires. Tell me what you people think. Thanks

I have a friend who has the firehawks on a '91 and he loves them but I have a '94 Z28 and just put BFG Comp T/A's on and I've never seen a tire hold the road like these. I take normal turns at 45-50 MPH without any squeal (only whiplash). They're on stock alloy rims and are 245-50-16. ZR rated to speeds over 149 MPH. They were $129 a piece but WELL worth it and I highly recommend them.

I'd go with the BFG's, although I'm not sure they make COMPS in the size you need for your car. I've had several sets of their T/A radials, and they've all lasted over 60,000 miles......Not too bad when you consider the torture I put them through.....KZ
