Has anyone ever had to patch a nail hole in thier M/T ET streets, was it just a normal patch like any other for a radial tire.

67 camaro 462 BB 9.6 CR Compcams 314HR 252 @ 50 612 lift, Port+Polish Oval port 2.19 1.88, Edelbrock RPM intake, 850 Holley DP, 3" exhaust, turbo 400 TCI 4000 stall, Dana 60 4.10 posi, 315/60/15 BFG M/T drag Radials, 3650lbs. w/driver. [email protected]

i may be wrong here, but i thought et streets were a tube only, or tube highly reccomended tire. apparently you are running them w/o though, so it obviously works. i would be concerened about patching one due to the highly flexible nature of the tire. i think my solution would be to just get a couple of thier tubes for them, and be done with it. seems like the best/safest solution to me. good luck, hope that helps

If you're running the tires at the track I would definitely not run a patched tire! I don't think it's safe with the abuse tires take at the track. If they are tube type tires get a tube as suggested or get new tires and save the good one as a spare!
