I would like to know what size street legal drag tire I should use with this combo. staying with 26 total inches in diameter. Should I stay with 14 inch rims which I have with my Goodyear street tires or go with 15 inch? Hoosier, Mickey Thompsons or another brand.

it all depends on how well you can get it to hook! as for rim size, i think you'll play hell finding a 14" drag tire, but i'm sure they're out there. i'd go with a 26/ 10.50 -15, hoosier or m/t, both are good, how much street driving and traction needs will decide which ones (sportsman or et street). drag radials can work, but for a 26" tire, the only one they have is a 235/60-15, which is about 8" wide, pretty small imo. good luck with your choice. BTW, where are you going to race, bremerton?

I'll probably go with thw Hoosier 15 inch ET. It's been 20 yrs. since last raceing so I'm starting all over. Lots of changes have taken place so I'm just now comeing up to speed. Thanks for the reply and Bremerton is the place.
