Im thinking of moving my P225/70R14's to the front of my car where I currently have P215's now. I got new 15" on the back for better highway mileage and lower RPM's. The 225's are nearly an inch taller so Im curious if anyone has run into any rubbing with these mounted up front?
Car has 350 and A/C, I think its original springs yet too.
Thanks for ideas

I have run a 245/60/14 on a 7" Rally without any problems on my 67. I think the only time I ever had any rub was at low speed/high load full lock turns....like at an autocross. But I dont see you having that problem with a 225.

I would think that a 70 series tire on a 14 inch rim would work fine. I have a 60 series tire on 16 inch rims and it doesn't rub, so i'd say you'll be fine.
