Question

I don't know if I'm posting this in the right forum area, but here goes...Is a jack assembly for a '69 Firebird the same as for a '69 Camaro? I was considering bidding on one if it's pretty much the same thing. Thanks.

Paul

If you can remove and install a kick panel, you can do anything you set your mind to.

I think you will be able to use it but the bumper hook "may" be different while the rest of the assy is identical. The Nova jacks will also work and are a lot cheaper but there again, you will need a different bumper hook. The tire iron has some small possible differences as they were selected differently for 69 Camaros vs. Nova's. Camaros were selected from a chart (based off of wheel options I think) at final assy while Novas were a little bit simpler. Hope this helps in some way.

Thanks, Mark. I thought there was a chance they'd be identical like some of the Nova stuff. I guess I'd be better off to just wait and spring for the real deal.
