Does anyone have pics of a 67/68 with 17x8's on all four corners? Will they work with 5" of bs and 235/45/17 tires?

Thanks,
Donnie

They should work fine with that backspacing. I am ordering my wheels today (Boyd Coddington)...17x8 front with 5" bs (225/45-17) and 17x9.5 with 5.5" bs rear (255/45-17). After this set is worn out, and if the centering of my axle is adequate, I am moving to 235/45's in the front and 275/40's in the rear.

BTW disc brakes on the front, drums on the rear.

Gary, Your car sounds exactly like mine. 68 (RS) disc up front, drums in the rear. Boyd Coddington Smoothies (look like torque thrust IIs) 17x8 (5" BS) front 245/45/17 (BF Goodrich g-force KDW); 17x9.5 (5.5" BS) 275/40/17.

I'm still getting it all together. Tomorrow I have to have both axles replaced after a little "incident" of my own doing.

I ordered the 'Intruders'. I have them photoshopped onto Ray's car at home...I like the look. I like the smoothies too.
