Hey guys,
I just recently started helping my grandfather with his 69 SS camaro, it doesn't have ps, and still has the original tires on it. We were wondering what to replace the tires with, we want to use the same rims, and would like tires that look as original as possible. Would radials on the front increasse the steering response?

Thanks for the help guys!

Yes, radials will definitely improve steering response, tracking, and handling in general; don't just put them on the front, though - all four corners need the same construction. Your front toe-in will also have to be re-set, as radials have more self-aligning torque and a longer footprint than bias tires. TOTAL toe-in should be set between zero and 1/16" with radials.
