Those wheels and tires will fit with no problems if you get a wheel with correct backspacing. I would look into getting a backspace of at least 4.5". I use a 17x8 wheel with 4.75" inch backspacing and a 255 tire and it fits perfectly! The tire is completely inside the wheelwell and does not contact the fender lip.

i got 255/50/16's on the back (and front) of my Nova on old Trans Am GTA honeycomb wheels, and they clear just fine. a slight bit of rubbing on the framerail over weird angles liek driveways and what not, but clears otherwise. don't know the backspacing of the wheels, as i haven't measured yet. don't know how much this applies to a Camaro, tho.

you don't plan sincerity.
you have to make it up on the spot.

wanna hear about 20 years ago when i was too smart to know any better?
