I've got a 68 and im looking at some eagle alloy 212's for the back but they dont have 18x9.5 with 5.5 BS only 5" BS

will 5" BS be ok for my 68? any rub on the fenderweel? also would it look ok as not sticking out too far? i hate that wheel sticking out from the fender look. I lik ea nice clean tuck.

thanks in advance!

The back spacing should be okay, but I'd be worried about the rim width. With 18's the widest I would feel comfortable with would be the 8", unless you're willing to give up handling and ride quality by going to a really short sidewall like a 35 in order to avoid major rubbing issues.

If these were 17's then I'd say go for it.

I'd go with the 5 1/2 b.s. Eagle Alloy makes a "212" thats 18x9 1/2 and with a 5.5 backspace.

The part number is 2129-9980
