Hi,

I'm having 15x7 Rally's with 4,5" bs on all corners on a '67RS. I'm thinking of dropping the front 1" or 2" and the back 1".
What kind of size should I order for the front tires (cooper cobra's)215/65/15 or 225/60/15. I'm running Cooper Cobra's 255/60/15 at the back already.
Thanks for your input.

Willem

Don't know that this will help, but i currently am running 14x7 ralley's with 4.5" bs on all four corners. I had 235/60/14 put on the front and back only to discover that the outer tierod was rubbing the inside of the tires. I should have went with a 70 series tire up front. Oh well plan on getting different wheels anyway just be careful. oh yeah one importan detail i put hotchkis suspesion on front and back.It lowered the front 2" and the back 1 1/2"

I'm running the 215/65/r15's so I know that is safe. I think the 225's might rub... these are aweful close right now. -Dan

God Dan, I always love to see your car. Any new pictures of it?

Yeh, I really should update the pics... I'm hoping I get something good from a roll of film taken at the dragstrip last month... I've been wanting to get one of the car with the front end in the air! Got to love cars that hook and handle! -Dan

Nope, no winter here in GA.

Dan, was it a 1/4 mile track?

Yes, decided to go for a little straight line fun at a track rental. Unfortunately it wasn't great air, the car was off a few tenths and about 4mph from last fall. To top it off, my 2 step clutch switch shorted so I had to launch the old fashion way... still did 12.04 at 116.7 - I can't wait for spring to get it back into the 11's again. -Dan

DAN! Those are some awesome numbers for a sweet looking car. As for the tire info, I have 14 x 6 rallys for front discs. I had the car very low at one point and there was no rubbing. I did have to modify the rear shock mounts. The front tires are 215/60's.
