What's the best way to fit wide front and rear tires onto a first generation Camaro? I've heard of mini-tubs and of removing the outer fenderwell in the rear, but what works best? I've heard that mini-tubs can cause interference with the rear seat, and I want to avoid that. What's the largest tire size you can fit? I'm trying to fix up and improve a 68 Camaro... the current 215/60R15's just won't cut it. Thanks for any help.

When I first got my car running I used 285/60 McCreary's on 15"x8"
Welds with 4.5" offset. They fit good, but would rub the shocks on tight turns.
