Just got a 200 mile used set of 1LE rotors with the 7/16" studs already swapped in place of the metric studs. they show up and they are 1/2" studs...
They fit in the stock 15X7 steel 5 spoke wheels, but it looks like there is hardly any room for the convex part of the lug nut to seat into the concave part of the lug hole on the wheel.

Is this a safe thing to run on a stock wheel designed for 7/16" studs? there is such a small amount of room that I wondered. I guess I'll go buy a 1/2" stud and see what it looks like. I read another post from last month that two members said it was do-able, but I want some more in depth responses hopefully. Hope I'm not out of $90....
