I got the go ahead on a new set of rims and tires for my 68 camaro from the wife last night. Right now I am currently running 275-60-15's on a 8.5 inch rim with 4 inches of backspacing. Due to the way my exhuast comes out the back I can only go to 4.5 inch backspacing. What I need to know is what is the over height of the rim and tire combo for different sized tires on 17 inch rims. I am not sure what kind of rim yet but I will need to fill the wheel well as much as I can so it doesn't look like a 4x4. I could drop the rear one inch if I have to, but I run SSM lift bars and they sit really low. So basically I need the height of different mounted tire sizes on 17 rims from the ground up to the top of the tire.

Thanks, Erik

Go to www.tirerack.com and and under the "Shop For Tires" you will find a link "search your tire size. Once there put in the size you are interested in and you will get all the tires they carry of that size. Pick the tire you interested in and click the "spec" link. You'll get a chart with all the sizes and their spec's...
