I shopping for a new set of P235R 60-14 tires. I've talked to several dealers so far and they are telling me that these are "special oreder" and brand selection is limited? Who has the best selection and price?

Discount Tire is another place, but I have never dealt with them.

Have bought tires from the Rack and was always satisfied.

I never liked it when the Salesperson asked me what I was going to put my tires on b/c I always wondered if they saw a different, higher volume unknown application, if the prices wouldn't get kicked up a schosh later on, but I'm anal about stuff like that!!

OK, best deal to date is a set of Cooper "Cobras" for $292 for a set of 4, mounted & balanced. I paid $257 for a similar set in 1997......not bad!

How do you like the Cooper's? Which model did you buy...the GTH, GTZ, or ZHP? I was considering these, but haven't heard much about them.

Paul H., I bought the Cobra G/T;these are for my daily driver-64 Olds F-85. My son runs these on his 64 Buick Skylark and likes them. The Olds had BFG Radial TA P235-70-14 tires and the Cobras are a dramatic improvement in handling.

Clements Investments, Firestone has had quality issues.........tread separtaion, for a number of years. Great tires for low speed vehicles like bycycles and wheelbarrows!
