Wanted to know if anyone out there has put a set of 18's on their '69 Camaro. If so, what is the widest you can go up front and back and what backspacing. Thanks for your help! ( Had 18x8 Torq Thrust II's but rubbed slightly on the inner front fender when going over a bump)

There really needs to be a sticky post at the top of this page. This question has come up so much it's not even funny. Not coming down on you, just stating it would be helpfull for all.

18x8, 5" bs, 245/35 18
18x9.5, 5.5" bs, 275/35 18

Amen. We should also include a reference to this thread about the widest wheels & tires for a '69.

There are several useful posts in that thread that boil down to 17x8 with 4.75bs in the front and 17x9.5 with 5.5bs in the back.

there is a guy on pro-touring.com (his screen name is "datsbad") that i have been hosting pics for. He is running 18's front and 20's rear on his 69
pretty damn sweet looking if ya ask me!

Here's a shot of my car with Cris' (CJ here) 18" famosas. I'll have to look see if can find something posted about teh sizes... I don't recall off the top of my head...

I think 17's fit the car better though...
