Well we took the 315/35/17's off my bro in laws 69 Chevelle and wanted to see how much work would need to be done to fit them on my 69 Camaro. His wheels are 17x11's with 5.75 bs. I could not beleive it....we bolted them on and they were actully still under the fenders! I do have rolled fender lips. It looks like they would just rub a bit on the outside. On the inside...they was maybe 1/4" at best. But ...there was plenty of room around the leaf springs and shocks. From what it looks like all that needs to be done is a minor 1.5" tub and 6" or 6.25" bs 17x11's. The shocks would also have to be relocated as well because of the sheetmetal removal. Still..this is much better than what was expected.

Yep, you can get the 315's on an 11" rim in there without a 3" mini-tib, without even getting into the subframe. The DSE mini-tub (3") will get you to 335's and 12.5" rims which is where everyone seems to be going.

I would recommend closer to 7" b.s. though or you'll likely have outer wheelwell rubbing with passengers or big bumps unless the car doesn't sit low.
