I have 67 Camaro, I have a 2inch front drop coils from detriot speed and 2inch rear drop.
I am having problems with front rims and tires fitting. I called detriot speed about tire sizes but ther suggestion does not work.
centerline wheels
17 inch
front 8 inch rim
4.25 backspacing
245/45/17 To big they rub on outside fender lip
225/45/17 To big they rub on outside
205/35/17 to small not enough side wall

I have spent alot of $$$$ on tires need to know what will work?

Thank,
John

The backspacing on the wheel is wrong. You need 4.75" to 5" b.s. on a 17X8" front wheel. Then the 245/45 will fit without issue.

Yep, 5.00 for drum 4.75 for disc. No offence but this has been gone over about a billion times on this board alone
