I picked up a set of old vintage mags 14X6 with a 3 inch backspace. Can I run these with F70-14 tires without having any clearence problems?
Thanks

F70-14's are recomended for 7" wheels... http://www.kelseytire.com/pages/tirechart2.html They are about 26.5" tall. A 7" wide wheel with a 4" bs should fit so the 6" with a 3" bs should not be a problem. I'd pull a front and read wheel and mount the 14x6 to see if there is any clearence problems before putting tires on them... Disc brakes may be your biggest problem.

thanks for the reply. Discs have pleanty of room. I like the look of these old "reversed" style wheels but fear interferance problems. They now have 235-60 tires on them, so mock up is tough to judge. Before I buy tires, I was hopeing that someone else had good luck with this combo
