if you go to 67camaros.davidv.net/info.htm and press the technical tab and click the max wheel size tab you will see that it states that you can put on 18" by 9" wheels which should fit with stock wheel wells on a 67 camaro. Does anyone have any info on this? Can anyone verify this? I am thinking about putting on the new Cragar SS aluminum wheels and would like to verify it before purchasing them. Can anyone help?

They'll fit on the rear with 5.5" b.s., or even 5.25" since it's only 9" wide. They will not clear well up front though.

would it help if I found a thinner wheel. like an 18" by 8" or 7". or are you stating that it would be too high. What other options do I have. Should I go with the 17's

An 18X8" with 4.75-5" b.s. works great up front with a 245/45 tire or so. The rear can go as big as an 18X9.5" with 5.5" b.s. and a 275/40

Here are a couple of reference pics for you.

My car has 18X8 with 4.75" on the front - 235/40
and 18X9 with 5.5" - 255/45 on the rear.

Fit nice with NO rubbing.....

Good Luck!

Beautiful Jeff, just beautiful! Were you going to try to get to SEMA this year? I think I asked you this already, but I forgot!

Hey Jody,

Thanks, I had every intention of going to SEMA this year, but I just signed a purchase agreement to build a new house, which should be done towards the end of the year, and I think I am going to have to use the vacation time I had alloted for SEMA for the move...I am not saying no firmly yet, but the odds are not looking good. But the new house will be nice!

Jody, funny you should ask, I asked Jeff that VERY question on the phone yesterday.

Hey JT, if I bring the HD over and help ya move, you will HAVE to go to SEMA.

Hey guys. I've been searching the web and haven't been able to find a company that makes 18 inch wheels with the backspacing mentioned above. Does anyone have any ideas where I can look. If possible can you name some brands that make the 18" wheels with the backspacings mentioned above.

I've got 17 * 8, 4.75" bs Cragars on mine, w/ 255/45's. Cragar does list a 17 * 9, but no 18's at all.

I've been thinking about going with billet specialties model SLC77. Does anyone have any info on these wheels? Are they worth the price? Any other wheels that are comparable and cheaper?
