Well....I have a 67, which as we all know has the least amount of room in the front and/pr rear for larger tire fitment and I have a set of 16x8x4.5 with a 245/50/16 on all four corners and it fits great. On the 67 however, the rear fender lip HAS TO BE rolled to clear the tire.
As for the front, I also have added a 3/16" spacer to be used with a set of fresh brake pads in my 13" PBR/BAER Track brake system and it still fits darn near perfect....even with a 245. I have verified this with the spring out of the suspension and have cycled it from bump to droop with no rubbing at all.
This should be much eaiser with the front fender on a 69.
