HI

i found those wheels for sell and was wandering if they will fit my 69RS

American Racing Torq-Thrust II, Fronts; 18x8 with 5x4.75 bolt pattern and 4 3/4 inch back spacing. Rears; 20x8 with 5x4.75 bolt pattern and 4 7/8 inch back spacing. Michelin Pilot Sport A/S tires. Fronts; 255/40ZR18, 26.04 inches tall. Rears; 275/35ZR20, 27.58 inches tall.

have the front a bit lowered
will try to post pictures of my car today

please help me as i have to contact the guy who sell them urgently

the problem is i can try tehm on the car before

I don't think the front wheels have enough backspacing for a lowered car. Likely they will rub especially with 255mm tires. The rear wheels might fit but I'll bet there will also be rubbing problems due to the tire height.

I suggest you pass on the wheels if there is no way to try them on the car first and time is of the essence.

I think you will be in the clear with some slight rubbing at full compression and at full lock. If the price is right, you may as well try.

Question

How crowded is that 275/35 going to be on an 8" wide wheel? The narrowest reccommended wheel with for the 275 is 9". I think the wheels will work but the guys running that wheel combination are running 235/40-18s in the front and 255/35-20s in the rear. Good Luck if you make the deal - let us know what happens.
