To all, I wandering what is the best fitting offset for a 17*7 front wheel on a 67 with disk brakes. Every post I read there is a different offset. Thanks Clayton

I used 4-1/4 on the front for the 17x7 Boyd's on my kid's 67 Coupe.

(See the link below for more pics.)

Edit: Sorry I realized after posting on the way to the office that I had the wrong offset. Here's what it's got:

235/45 on 17x7 w/ 4.25 front
255/45 on 17x8 w/ 4.75 rear

You can see my original thread here:
https://www.camaros.net/forum/ultimat...8;t=001580;p=1

The suspension is 100% stock and it has the original front disc/rear drum set-up.

I'd go 4.5", especially if you car sits lower than the one shown above.

Front's 235/45 on 17" TTII's 4.5 bs
Rears's 255/50 on 17" TTII's 4.75 bs

Clayton, John's setup is exactly the same as my car (except the rim manufacturer). This seems to be the most foolproof combo around.

Actually with 4-1/4 I still have plenty of room to drop the nose 2-inches without rubbing. That's next on the list for later this summer when I rebuild the suspension. I'll probably only go 1-1/2 to 1-3/4 though on the drop but only because I have clearance issues with the front spoiler and the dip on my driveway.
