I BUILT A GAGE TO CHECK WHEEL AND TIRE SIZES, OLD CAR CRAFT ARTICLE SHOWED HOW. BOLT A PIECE OF FLAT STEEL STOCK TO WHEEL MOUNTING SURFACE AND MAKE ADJUSTABLE SLIDE TO CHECK VERTICAL AND HORIZONTAL SIZING. GIVES YOU A VERY ACCURATE MEASUREMENT AND YOU HAVE TO ACCOUNT FOR SUSPENSION TRAVEL WHICK YOU CAN FIND WITH THE VERTICAL ADJUSTMENT.
ONE THING TO TAKE INTO CONSIDERATION IS THESE CARS ARE OLD. ANY SUSPENSION MODS AND ESPECIALLY QUARTER REPLACEMENT CAN CHANGE ONE CAR FROM ANOTHER ENOUGH TO MAKE TIRES RUB OR CLEAR. JUST MY THOUGHTS BUT CHECK THE DIMENSIONS ON YOUR OWN CAR BEFORE SPENDING BIG BUCKS. WHAT FITS ONE CAR MIGHT NOT FIT YOURS.

1971 CAMARO DRAG CAR, 11 SEC STILL SORTING OUT<br />1969 CAMARO WAITING FOR MY ATTENTION FOR PROTOURING BUILD
