Can I run 17" rims on this car. I am putting on a front disk brake conversion kit and I was wondering what sizes of tires I could use for 17" rims. I am going to lower the front by 2" with either a drop spindle or lower springs. What drop method would be the best idea? Any suggestions to lowering the back end?

Yes. I have 235/45's on 17x7's on the front of my 67. I just finished having it dropped ~2-in in front with a Hotchkis spring and sway bar setup. We also went with Hotchkis springs in the rear. Here are a few photos from the day we got it back from the shop...
