Question

I'm just trying to double check if this will tuck because I know I want the wheels to not have a gap between them and the fenders. And I just wanted to make sure that under hard acceleration or upon hitting a bump and bottoming out that I'll do damage to my fender or chew up my tires. I was gonna run a 17x9.5" rim in the rear with 275/40/R17.

You need to use a 5.5 inch backspace , and with a 8 inch wheel on the front you should go with 4.75 to 5.00 backspace .

Do you have to run a 9.5" wide wheel to get a 275 on there?

I guess you could go with a 8 inch rim if that makes you happy , there is not a whole bunch of differance in Price , and they do look good on a 9.5 rim but do what you want .

Be careful to get your backspace right. There is possible tie rod clearnce issues.
