Just got off the phone with Summit. Ordered 4 Cragar SS's (15x7) 4 BFG T/A's 215-60-15's for the front, 245-60-15's for the rear. Chrome valve stems, 20 chrome lugs, mounted, balanced and shipped. Here's hoping there's no rubbing (really don't think there will be, read all the numerous threads)

'67 Marina Blue Convertible. L30, PG. All numbers match, 41k original miles.

Thanks Jim, we spoke about the SS's before. I have drum brakes and want to paint them the body color (Marina Blue) I noticed you did the same. Any tips on prep of the drums?

What about 245-60's on a 8 inch rim as far as fit goes? To wide?

BFG recommends 7"-8 1/2" rim for the 245-60's, so the 8" rim would definately work.

I'm running 245-60-15's on a 8" 4.5"bs ralley on the rear of the '69. I think the fit is perfect.

245 on 8 np on a 68, mine are 255, clear fine

As far as the drums... I just washed em, and used rustoleum primer and paint. not exactly body color, but pretty close. It's held up well over five years, with only a touch of color change where they get hot.

Thanks Jim, I was thinking of taking them off, wire brushing then priming and paint, but wanted to be sure that no other prep was necessary. Should work out fine. Thanks again.
