1968 Camaro Stardard Wheel size

I have 1968 standard Camaro with a 327 V8 that I am restoring.

I am not modifying the suspension it will be all standard.

I currently run 14" stock tires. Can I run a 15" tires without any issues, like rubbing the body?

What size could you recommend?

Thanks
Lee

Re: 1968 Camaro Stardard Wheel size

Size limitations will be determined on the front tires. A 225/60 x15 is about as big as you can safely go in the front on a 67/68 with stock suspension. 215/65 is slightly taller and narrower and works fine as well. This is on a 15x7 wheel (rally wheel) with 4.25 " back space.

Here's a spec sheet from BF Goodrich so you can compare the different sizes...http://www.monro.com/datasheets/BFGo...-Radial-TA.pdf
