Foose wheels rubbing

I have 17" Foose wheels Legends, I installed a Ride tech streetgrip suspension which lowered the front approx. 2" now the outside edge of tire is rubbing the inside edge of ender when it compresses. the hubs look like there is a ton of material there, was hoping i could get local machine shop to mill some off the backside? Just trying to get some opinions
Thnx, Frank

Re: Foose wheels rubbing

I have a 69 with 18"Foose with 2"drop in front. My front tires rub a bit, but only when I make a full turn on the steering wheel, otherwise they tuck in nicely. I think I have a 4.5" off-set.

Re: Foose wheels rubbing

Check your alignment. Shoot for -.5 deg camber and you will likely be fine...

Re: Foose wheels rubbing

Have you installed aftermarket disc brakes? I had the same problem with the same wheels because the hubs for the disc brakes moved the wheels out by about 9/16". CPP came out with a hub that moved the wheel almost back to the stock location and there have been no more rubbing issues.

How do you like your Streetgrip suspension package?

Re: Foose wheels rubbing

Yes I do have aftermarket 4 wheel discs. I'll have to look into the hubs.
I definitely like the Ridetech suspension, still playing around with the shock settings.Huge improvement though !!
