Who makes these tires?

I've searched around but can't find a definitive answer. Does anybody know who makes these tires and are they any good?

Haven't seen them up close yet. Still torn on keeping my own Rally wheels or just buy another set later when I need them.

Jim, I recall you asked about a stamped letter code. But in all , if they are 15x7 and have a 4.25 to 4.375 back space, I would hang on to them. Otherwise if they are 14", they will not fit your car with disc brakes.

Re: Who makes these tires?

Yes, mine are 15x7 and near new so I'm inclined to keep them but unless I can find a reasonable replacement I might have to let them go. If they were original I'd definitely keep them but they seem to be aftermarket.

The picture above is from a set of four 15x7 original GM Rallys with those tires.

Here's my existing rim:

This is what my original Camaro looked like (I know, I never should have sold it)

I've got a problem with Decision Making Disorder and the existing chrome rims on my car are starting to grow on me.

Jim...that tire looks very similar to the Firestone INDY 500 Firehawks that I put on a few years ago...from the tread design to the RWL letter fonts, very close. Firestone doesn't make that profile in 15" any longer, but, Cobra has a great look alike in the vintage RWL venue...several guys on Corvette Forum are using them.

Jim, hate to say this , but I like your old wheels better, on your car. All you lack is some striping and you are home again.
And if you want to change the vinyl roof, there should be people that do this, I recall your dealership did this .

Nothing wrong with her now.
You can't see the tires/wheels from the driver seat.
Fifteen's only came on Z/28's.

Everett, 14" won't clear front disc calipers unless something changed.

I'm looking over at CRG and all 68's except Z28's came with 14 x 6 steel or 14 x 6 rally wheels and all models could be had with disc brakes. So there must be 14" rally wheels that will fit over 68 disc brake. May be I'm reading the charts wrong but tell me if I'm wrong.

Re: Who makes these tires?

My 55k 69 RSSS has the original 14 x 7 Rallys with disc brakes. Have had several Camaros and Chevelles with 14's and disc brakes.

Didn't some of these cars that had disc brakes and 14" wheels, have a different caliper? Dual Piston?
