Poll time, In or Out

I got a nice (nice to me) set of wheels and tires from a place online. Their de facto process is mounting with letters in, which is opposite of what I planned. Never thought to ask about it if anyone is wondering. With that said, the wheel arrival caused me to pause a minute.

Now it's time for a poll. Simple vote of "white in" = keep things as they are, or a vote of "white out" = put the white letters out and look sharp.

Yea, I know the letters have the blue coating on and that picture is of a wheel rear end, but work with me kind gents. I was going to attempt photo-shopping the image to have whites on the wheel face. A few minutes later and I had the most terrible picture I ever saw of crooked and crappy letters.

I am biased and think they should go white letters out. My wife thinks they4 should stay as is. Time to see what you guys say.

Re: Poll time, In or Out

Man, i don't know why but those wheel shots didn't show up the first try. Now I think I got the wheel shots, as well as a super crappy side shot of the car. Sadly, this is the only shot I have of it from a side view. Wasn't smart enough to snap a new picture when I had it out.

Re: Poll time, In or Out

Depends on the type of tire & if you want to show them off.
Tiger Paws, In
BFG -TAs, Out.
j/k
everyone seems to be going black sidewalls out, white lettering in. looks cleaner in my book.

I like white letter tires on musclecars, but I have always been more of a traditionalist.

Re: Poll time, In or Out

Don't buy white letter tires if you are going to put them in. In any event for darker colored cars I like them out.

I agree with Don above unless it is a GoodYear Polyglass, or a Firestone Wide Oval, or BF Goodrich Radial T/A I would buy black walls.

I believe he already has the tires.

Could always put them white letters in on the pass side and white letters out on the driver side. Nobody can see both sides at the same time. That way you can have it both ways. Lol

Go big I say! Only large out for me.

Small, cheap inferior tires in.
