Classic Industries rally wheel kit

Bought the 15" rally wheel kit with center caps, trim rings, lug nuts and all. Really disappointed in the trim rings, they have thin chrome plating and have a copper tint to them. Positive that they are Chinese. Called Classic Industries to complain and was pretty much told to live with it. Considering stainless steel replacements, does anyone use them?

Re: Classic Industries rally wheel kit

I have yet to see a set of reproduction chrome trim rings that either looked good right out of the box, or if they did, they faded fast and need constant polishing.
I often wondered if the stainless could take and hold a shine. My sink won't.

As said return them if you are not happy. There are plenty of GM rings in circulation but pricey, or buy a reproduction set and send them off to be chromed by your local shop to your satisfaction.
