68 stock wheel houses with 17 inch rims , what fits

Hi Guys
My 68 just came out the paint shop and its time for rims . I want to use 17 or 18 inch rims and looks like I need 5.5 bs on rear to run 265 40 and for the front a 4.75 bs and run 235 40. How about some help on what will fit and not rub with stock wheel houses. I am trying to get wide tires that will fit under the back and fit under the front. Thanx for any help , when answering please list rim size & width & backspace. I am looking forward to hearing what works for you guys

Those sizes you listed above will work well. Either a 9 w/5.25bs or 9.5 w/5.5bs will allow you to run a 275/40/17 (or 18) in the back. I have ran 235/45 and 245/45 sizes in the front without any problems. I am currently running Budnik Famosas in the 17x8 and 17x9.5 and they are coming off in the next week or two (going larger/wider). Finding those sizes in the standard one piece wheels are hit and miss. If you are interested in my Budniks let me know.
