What I thought I knew... I didn't

All these years, I was convinced I had the 4 3/4" backspacing on my rear Centerlines... well turns out, I don't. After taking the rim off today to actually measure, it appears to be more like 3 3/8" which accounts for the tires sticking out past the fender more than I'd like. Am I correct to say that there are only two different backspacings for the 8.5" Autodrag wheel... one being 3 3/8" and another being 4 3/4"? If I am correct, does the 4 3/4" BS work well on a 67'? It appears that it would fit beautifully with a 275/60-15 tire. Can anyone confirm this?
Thanks, Jim

How did you measure ?

At 8.5" wide and only 3 3/8" BS... they would be much further out.

I measured just like that but because the tire is mounted I had had to eyeball a bit and use a piece of wood that was only about a foot long so I couldn't go straight across... I had to cut the corner.
Thanks, Jim
